designtalkradio (dtr) is a live, hour-long talk show about the holistic world of design and architecture.  Every Monday from 1 - 2pm CST (5 - 6pm PST) architect Joe Self and designer Tracy Self guide the listening audience through unique do-it-yourself (diy) instructions, explain design concepts, speak with guest experts and answer your calls and emails.

Joe Self is a practicing architect. He was educated at the University of Texas at Arlington and earned a Masters degree in architecture at Rice University.

Tracy Self is a designer practicing with Joe. She received a BSN from the University of Texas at Arlington and took interior design coursework at TCU.

Tracy and Joe enjoy using their training and experience to answer design questions on-air.  The combination of an architect and a designer offers listeners a broad perspective on design issues.  Everyday living needs are considered in the light of making every space beautiful and useful.

designtalkradio is an extension of their effort to connect the general public with resources and products, applied intelligently, to everyday design issues.
